About Me

The 104.9Mhz Mambo-Heart FM was established on August 8,2004 with the joint-effort of 16th Infantry Batallion, 204th Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division of the Philippine Army and the Provincial Government of Occidental Mindoro under the administration of Governor Josephine Ramirez-Sato. It was September 2, 2004 when it was transferred to Capitol Mamburao Occidental Mindoro from Hilltop Tayamaan Mamburao. It was started with Captain Edgar E. Delos Reyes as the Station Manager and ten(10) military DJs together with one(1) civilian DJ, Menchie Gasang Mendizabal, also known as DJ Danielle. This community based radio station begin with 30 watts. Its format called "INFOTAINMENT" which means information and entertainment based on the culture of the province to connect with the local populace. Today it was upgraded and operating 500 watts reaching out the MAPSA area and on live streaming all over the world.
